"My relationship with and commitment to my clients is foremost in the design process. I begin by getting to know my clients and their desires while also developing a strong connection to the site in a physical, emotional and historical way. History and the land then become my inspiration as I begin the design process. In the end, my hope is to connect people and places to create meaningful and lasting experiences and design." - Louise Hill
Louise Hill has been creating timeless and functional homes since opening her design firm in 2006. Her style inspiration is informed by her childhood spent on the Northern California coast, and later years living in the expansive landscape of the West. Central to her style are simple forms and materials with an emphasis on an abundance of light. Effortless flow from space to space is at the core of her design strength.
Louise received her Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from the University of Utah. Following graduation, Louise interned with noted residential architect Thomas Bosworth, FAIA, in Seattle, Washington.
